Have you ever: Purchased something without looking at the price?

If you know me or has been out shopping with me, then you know that I tend to sometimes grab stuff to buy without even looking at the price. Sometimes my friends would say, "Oh snap, big spender". I just laugh and say that you only live once. And it's true, you cannot say that you you are living to the fullest and you have never splurged on something for yourself. But my situation is different simply because I do this kind of thing often. I cannot help it, when you see something you really want, it doesn't matter how much it cost. But I cannot do this all the time. There has been times that I had to make an adult decision and not purchase what o wanted until I could really afford it. But if you know like I know most things that you spent a good amount of money on is most likely to last longer than the cheaper items. I believe that most times you have to take a risk when shopping for anything not just clothes. And this philosophy hasn't failed me yet. What do you think about this? Have you ever done this before?
