bags for men

hello there again, its yours truly, mr.aries. you know as a guy i get all types of looks and reactions from people because of my bags. and i honestly could care less what they think. and i know i'm not the only one. they have been called murse, man bag, guy purse, and manny pack are some of the names. but why men who have bags are made fun of. to some people it is seen as feminine. but if you are secure with yourself does it really matter. well there are various types of bags for men. i've done some research and with some help from sites like askmen.com here is what i have. first their is the briefcase, and we pretty much know what the briefcase is all about. they are mainly for the working man and the most tolerable bag in mens fashion. i do not own a briefcase but if i would have one it would be more up to date, modern, or fashionable briefcase. next there is the messenger bag, now do i really need to explain this. often seen in canvas with one strap draped across the chest. but nowadays you can see it in leather for that more sophisticated look. everyone from students to actual messengers can be seen out and about sporting their bags with style. i do have a messenger bag and if you know me you guess right its from my favorite brand american eagle. then there is the holdall. and for those who do not know what that is, it is sometime called a weekender bag. i could be stretching by saying its a cross between a tote and a duffel bag. but i hope you get my drift. this is one of my favorite style of bag. its commonly seen in leather but other choices are available. i have a few of these bags and they are great, they can hold a lot of things in it, they are very stylist and just amazing. need i say more. after that we have the camera bag. its a longer rectangular bag and its a stylist way for a man to carry more than just your camera. most commonly seen on tourist and intended to be strapped across the shoulders. this bag is very stylish. it also adds some masculinity to your outfit for those who are worried about wearing a bag hanging from your shoulder.  following that is the tote. similar to a briefcase but clearly not. generally business attire is the look of the bag. a longer handle for a more modern look. its a little more laid back than the briefcase is if you are going for that laid back look. last but not least the news boy bag. often mistaken for a messenger bag, this bag is less formal and more casual. if you are that student who is in the go then this bag is for you. this bag is a little more manly than a knapsack. i know i know, there are more than six types of bags  but we will be here all day. whatever you like there is a bag for you or a bag for your man who needs just a little bit more style(ladies). to each its own. i actually own the bag in this post. ttyl mr.aries

know your body type

hello again. its yours truly, mr.aries. todays topic it for everyone and if you think its not for you then you know someone it pertains to. people, people, people, know your body type. why would you wear something that does not go with your body. it happens all the time, when we go shopping we have this image in our mind of how an outfit will look on our bodies or how we want it to look. im not perfect because i've done it myself. im not the biggest person or the smallest. i fall somewhere in the middle and i am aware of this. but enough about me. and my body. now i know its summertime and we all want to show some skin but you can still do it and not look like you dress yourself in the dark. if you are going for a specific look you need to commit. but you should know that every look has it limitations. i say this because there are too many people wearing too tight shirts or too big pants. there is fat bulging everywhere or you just look a hot mess. and no one whats that. am i right or am i right. when you go shopping and a sales associate ask you if you need help, say yes and take there help. they are there to help you look your best. they know of all the merchandise in their particular department and they are train employees nonetheless. they can tell you want will FIT right or what colors look good, help you pick he right size for your body. and give you options to what you are looking for.  i do not care what anyone says they are always options when you are shopping. if your body is large, then wear a large. why are you trying to squeeze into a smedium, know that you are going to give the clothes stretch marks.  also be mindful of the brands that you purchase. because not all designers design their clothes with every body type in mind. there are brands out there that cater just to the skinny people and vice versa. if you know someone who is going through this please tell them to read this. so until we speak again, mr. aries out. ttyl.

favorite clothing brands

hello there and it yours truly, mr.aries. so todays topic was inspired by todays outfit. my favorite clothing brand, american eagle. and any body who knows me, knows that i wear american eagle everyday religiously.  there is just something about it thats indescribable. ever since someone introduce me to AE i was in love. they stay on trend with everything. and sometimes even start their own trends. i really do love AE. about 75%, maybe more, of my entire wardrobe is AE. yesterday i wore 7 things that had that eagle logo on it. if they are selling it i usually have it in my closet. im probably the cause of why they are still in business( at least the store that i go to) lol. i've even been called a walking advertisement. when i walk into the store the employees get excited to see me and they begin to tell me whats on sale and all the special discounts that they just so happen to have every time i walk in. another one of my favorites is H&M. if you do not know about H&M then you need to crawl from under your rock and come into the real world with everybody. their clothes are more hipster verses the more preppy look that american eagle has. when i usually go into the store i just ask and employee to give me the same things the mannequins are wearing and if not then there will be a naked mannequin when i leave. last but not least there is forever 21. another hot brand for guys. most people don't even know that they sell men clothes. at one point i didn't know. but thankfully i do. their clothes are a little hipster too, along with other styles. but the amazing thing is that there clothes are moderately price if not flat out cheap. you can always find a good deal in that store. American Eagle Outfitters, H&M, and Forever 21 are just a few of my favorite brands. what are yours? tell me what you think. so until next time later fashionistas.

sagging

hello my fashion babies it mr.aries here. and todays topics is sagging.what is sagging? well sagging is a form of wearing your trousers below the waist, hanging below the waist line and thus showing your underwear. so many people see it as a world wide phenomenon. but i see it as a epidemic that is spiraling out of control. so where did it begin. well if you don't know let me tell you. there are three things the prison uniforms are usually too large, their belts were taking away to prevent hangings, and to prevent belts from being use as a weapon during a fight. so more than likely the prisoners sagged their uniforms. but that does not seem like a good reason to suddenly pull your pants down right. well it comes from the prisoners being incarcerated for a period of time that when they were released from prison they continued to sag their pants as if they were in prison. because it is a life style that they were accustomed to. but don't think that every person sagging has been in jail once before, because that is not the case. the younger generation do it because they want to be like their favorite hip hop artist. sagging was popularized in the 1990's by hip hop artist. trying to be like the hip hop artist, this generation of kids sag their pants. some people even say that its become a fashion statement that is taking this nation by storm. its an urban look that has dominated plenty of cities like NYC and others. its like the lower you sag you your pants the cooler you are.  some of the youth say that they do not know why they do it. in some cases this can be true. they were born into a society where in some neighborhoods sagging is what you do. so are even pressured into doing it(indirectly). because everyone else is doing it and they want to fit in and be one of the cool kids they sag. i think i might have heard every excuse and reason why people sag. like for example i do not have a belt on. but what makes it worst is that they own belts. they mysteriously for got to put it on. or i pulled my pants down by accident. ok we all know that no one pulls their pants down by accident. but there are saggers who purposely sag their pants by wearing a belt to keep their pants at a desired place on their legs. they tighten the belt around their legs, maybe so that they do not have to continuously pulling them up. most of the time i fell like walking up behind them and just pulling their pants down. i mena if you want us to see your underwear then just take your pants off or don't put them on in the morning and leave the house in you underwear. i can go on for hours about this, so i end this with a question what are your opinions on sagging. so until we speak again ttyl.

mens underwear

 hello my fashion babies, it me again, mr.aries. and todays topic mens underwear. well where should we start. idk if i have any male readers, but if you are out there you should reads this. and ladies this is for you too. you will understand by the end of this blog. well i guess underwear started with the loin cloth, but i don't know if that can really be considered underwear because there is now support. i read somewhere the first sign of some support was seen in a pharaoh's tomb. he was buried with 145 so he have extra in the after life. it was like the loincloth. two isosceles triangles tied at the sides. but the difference is that the fabric from the back came forward and tucked over the in the front. and thus a template for underwear was created. later came variations of the brief in japan, under shorts, union suits with the flap in the back. some even had flaps in the from. soon after that the union suit was turned into two with variations in the way the fly in the front was fasten. then as years went on different fabrics and patterns were introduced and there were a lot of diversity in choices of boxers and briefs. but now there are not only different fabrics and patterns but there are different types of underwear. we have boxer shorts, briefs, boxer briefs, trunks, sports briefs, thongs, and jockstraps. i know there are others but lets just deal with these. ok well we all are familiar with boxers right. well if not here it is.  they look like regular shorts with a fly front sometimes fasten and sometimes not with an elastic waist. briefs have more support. and are better to wear if you are playing sports, training or doing a lot of sitting. they kind of shape the butt, unlike boxers. if you are doing a lot of sitting boxers are not for you. they bunch up on the leg and can give you a wedgie. and no on wants that. the most efficient and popular are the boxer briefs. they are long on the leg like boxers but give you that support that you need for sports or anything active. well trunks are like boxer briefs but they are little shorter on the leg. and just a little more support. next we have sports briefs, which are cut higher on the legs for more movement. then there is the thong. now we all now what a thong is. but for those who just  crawled from under a rock a thong has very little coverage. it basically covers up the boys and thats pretty much it. you can figure out the rest. last but not least there is the jockstrap. for those who do not know what this is let me explain. its main purpose is to support. there is basically no coverage anywhere except the boys. there are straps that go from the waistband down the side of your butt and under to connect to the pouch. those are some of the basics in underwear. there are many brands with a variety of colors and fabrics to choose from. but to each its own. but most men go for cotton, is the optimum choice when it comes to taking good care of your boys. what your answer to the age old question boxers or briefs? whats your favorite. and now that i shared a little info about what we wear underneath, put it to good use. and ladies this is for you to. take good care of your man. and make sure he looks good undress as well as he looks fully clothes. and please no sagging. you can display your individualism with your underwear without sagging. but that is a whole other story soon to be posted. so until we speak again, ttyl.

fashion dilemmas

hello again, have you ever had a day where you could never figure out what to wear. i know i'm not the only one. idk what it is, but sometimes i can never find anything to wear. and its not like i don't have clothes to wear. maybe its that i have too many options that i cannot put an outfit together. i usually can put together an outfit while in bed or if its an outfit that i plan to wear in the near future. i try to pull ideas from the activities that i will be doing that day. then i think about how much exposure the outfit will get that day. sounds a bit crazy but why go through all the trouble of putting together a cute outfit if not that many people are going to see you looking good. anyways choosing the right outfit can be very difficult. but when all else fails i just do a simple jeans and a t-shirt combo. that outfit works every time. we all have our favorite pair of jeans that we enjoy wearing, then we just pair it up with any cute tee that we have. but then what to put on our feet. i told you it was difficult. i usually choose something that looks good with my jeans or something black just because it goes with almost anything. so what do you do to pick out an outfit. maybe put on a small fashion show for your friends. let me know, share your stories. maybe you can do something i do and vice versa. so until next time, ttyl.

spring fashion part 2

spring fashion is such a big topic i had to split it in two. well lets continue. so another staple in my outfit is a very cute bag. and anybody that knows me know that i have a serious bag collection and it is always increasing( i have 2 that i will soon purchase so stay tune but i digress). you can never go wrong with a cute bag. right now im sporting a very cute very sexy true religion bag, that i received with the purchase of the cologne. anyways i love bags. it always goo to have your bag to go with your outfit but not too matchy matchy. you get my drift right. if your bag matches your shoes thats a plus. now we cannot forget spring shoe fashion. for the men its pretty simple about how to choose what to put on our feet. so fellas this one is for the ladies(maybe the next one. now ladies its time to bring out the high heels, wedges, the peep toe, the sling backs, the platform heels, and everything of that nature. a woman's outfit is not complete without the right shoe. lets go over some dos and don'ts. wedges and tights a major no no. they are two different looks. or a cute spring dress and sexy kitten heels. hell no.i would usually say to each its own but not with that. ill. i would style together those leggings with a cute boyfriend shirts some sexy heels maybe a fierce clutch to match and a short a hair do or a really nice pony tail. and of course some cute accessories like bangles, definitely wear studs no question. and a nice necklace and do not forget the shades and the scarf unless its too hot then leave it home (did i mention that im a stylist). anyways, for the ladies that love shirts do it( with my help of course). im a real fan of pencil skirts. but any skirts if done right looks good. but you can never go wrong with a cute tee a pair of skinny jeans and a pair of sexy pumps, with the basic outfit staples that i mentioned earlier. but i do predict platform heels for the spring and even summer. they are so sexy. but they are not for everybody. there is so much to talk about for spring fashion that it cannot fit i one blog.i guess that all for now. so until next time, ttyl.
