triumphant return: back into the swing of things >leggings

hello again. i know, i know. where i have been? well i took a hiatus. i have to keep myself educated so i can keep you informed. well lets get back into the swing of things. well let me ask you a question. what are thoughts on leggings? well i ask you this because one of my best friends loves leggings. now im not saying that there is something wrong with them. they are actually look good, if you wear them right. if you are going to go out and want to look sexy then i suggest you always pair them up with some hills if they are going to be what you wear and thats it. they don't always look good with other footwear. but to each its own. then a cute top with a belt. with this i would accessorize. as far a earrings goes it depends on your hair style. a short hair cut or hair pulled back looks goods with hoops or some that hang. but when your hair is down some simple studs or pearls are great. its a simple look and does not pull the attention away from the work that was done on your hair. but lets not get off topic here. leggings are here to stay. just make sure that you do not look like some crazy person in the street and wear the way they are meant to be worn. until next time, ttyl.

favorite colors

hello again its yours truly, mr.aries. so i ask you this question. what is your favorite color to wear? i asked it because we all have a favorite color but do we have a favorite color to wear. for example my favorite color is green. i enjoy the blues and the yellows but green is the happy medium between the two. and green means go and i'm always on the go, but i digress. anyways i'm not really sure what my favorite color to wear. i do know that i wear a lot blues, black, and sometimes i mix it up with some color. then it all depends on the day and how it feel, and what activities i have planned for the day. but its interesting though because never know what i'm going to wear until about twenty minutes before i put it on and somehow still manage to look look really good. i cannot give you a formula for how it happens but i'm glad it happens. so i ask you again what is your favorite color to wear? do you really have one? what do you think about this? well until we speak again. ttyl.

some friendly fashion advice

hello again, its yours truly mr.aries. well if you haven't notice its a little colder outside. i know, right. well here some advice on what to do and still look good. a fall mush have is a few cute scarves to switch up. my choice is a wrap around scarf. h&m might have one but if al fails american apparel is where you should go. i already purchased one there and will be buying a new one in the very near future. you are probably thinking what it is a wrap around scarf. let me tell you, you might know it as a circle scarf. either way its a must buy. im side tracking. anyways you also want to buy a really cute pair of boots. fellas lets do more than just a pair of regular looking timberland boots. think outside the box and get out of our comfort zone. ladies they same for you too. another fall must have is a super cute black leather jacket to sport around town in. there is no one specific type for everyone, but to each its owns. and you can never go wrong with a pair of cool sunglasses. and you do not know what to wear with all this just put on some jeans and a white tee. or dress in all black, i mean it does make you look slimmer. until later ttyl.  

  

summer is over

Hello again its yours truly,  Mr.Aries.  Well know that summer is coming to an end and school starting again you know what that means. Its getting cold again.  Do not be upset that the warm weather is over.  Fall and winter fashion is upon us.  Scarves, hats, gloves, and everything in between.  Long coats, boots, and everything of that nature.  If you are not aware, then let me tell you. I live for fall and winter fashion.  Everything about it excites me. I already have some ideas in my head.  And definite outfits that I will be wearing.  (I'll show you the picks in a later post).  But anyways its here so get ready. If you are  a bit unsure about how to do it this season. hello again, its yours truly. mr.aries. now i know what you are probably thinking. but im talking about how to properly execute your outfit. now for those who do not know what im talking about well this is for you. well do you ever see someone or that person is you. they are wearing a outfit but it just does not comes across right. well here are some steps fro you. first know what you are wearing. what i mean by that is you should know what on your body. if you are wearing jeans then be aware or at least pretend that you know you are wearing jeans. if you are wearing a dress, understand that there is a dress on your body. next you should like what you are wearing. i know you probably just thought to yourself. why would someone wear something and they do not like it. but those people are out there. it just might be you. if you are wear the latest trend and you know that you have it on, then you should at least enjoy it. otherwise the people around you will not like the shirt either. have confidence in your clothes. show that you took the time and effort to but on your clothes. and most of all be confident in yourself.it should not matter what other people are saying about you or your clothes. if its not true then why are you giving those haters the time of day. just look at it like this hater are your inspiration to keep doing what you are doing. because that the end of the day you should know who you are. and thats all that matters. so hopefully this helped you in some way. so until we speak again. ttyl.

hello again, its me mr.aries. so lets talk swimsuits. now i know we all want to look good we go to the beach .  or have the latest swimsuits just like our favorite celebrities. well i can start by saying know your body size. if its not your size please do not try to squeeze into it anyway. so lets start. swimsuits for the guys are pretty simple. just some simple board shorts with a descent pattern. no speedos guys, well if you are european and you have the body for it then be my guest. ladies i hate to sound like a broken record, but if you do not have the body for a two piece then leave it on the shelf for the next woman. stick to what work best for your body type. there are bathing suits for all body types, find yours. ask for help in the store, thats why the sale associates are there for. take advantage of their knowledge. please do not be embarrass to ask for help. their are no stupid questions when it involves fashion. not asking any questions is the stupid thing to do.so until we speak again. ttyl

sometimes you just have to take a risk

hello again. its yours truly mr.aries. and sometimes in life you have to take risk. the same idea should be applied to fashion. so when we want to make a statement what do we do? do we wear a shirt that actually has a statement on it. thats too easy. the best outfits are the ones that are thought out. this is what i do, i stop and think "what reaction do i want from my peers?" "what do i want them to think when i walk into a room?" and "what kind of vibe do i want to project?" these are some of the things that should be on your mind. if you are not thinking this then there is a chance that you will look like a hot mess. just be courageous when it comes to dressing up. do not be afraid of what others are thinking. because the fact of the matter is that they are themselves too scared to do what you are doing. so until we meet again, ttyl.

surviving the summer heat

hello again, its yours truly, mr.aries. so how are we going to survive this summer heat and still look good. hard work i know. it sounds impossible but it is doable. so here we go. do not wear a black top unless you truly have to. first its a dark color it absorbs the heat and not reflect it. now im not saying wear a white tee shirt seven days a week but if you can do it, then do it.  as far as shoes goes, we know the ladies are going to wear nothing but sandals. guys you can do. but out of respect of the public please make sure your feet do not look crazy. im not saying go get a pedicure( unless you desperately need one). but at least put some lotion on your feet. shorts are always a must even if it rains. because with rain come humidity. and no one wants to be in the rain with their jeans sticking to their legs in this heat. wear some shades to protect those eyes in style. ladies if you want to look good and stay cool i recommend a dress made of a light weight breathable fabric like cotton. then you can pair it up with the latest sandals or some cute wedges or espadrilles.  and maybe a big stylist hat to top it off. please, please, please ladies no ugg boots. if i see any ugg boots all hell will break loose( honest to god). its to hot and who really wants they feet to smell like corn chips, if if i wanted corn chips i would have went to they store(ill funky).guys i recommend a white tee shirt with some khaki shorts. if your feet would let you a pair of sandals. if not i guess a pair of sneakers would suffice. if you want to wear a hat, fedoras are hot this summer. to sum up light colors and light breathable fabrics are best. people im just trying to keep us cool and stylist in this summer heat. seriously this summer is going to be a scorcher. so best be prepare other a heat stroke is on the to-do list for the summer. so until we meet again, ttyl.

bags for men

hello there again, its yours truly, mr.aries. you know as a guy i get all types of looks and reactions from people because of my bags. and i honestly could care less what they think. and i know i'm not the only one. they have been called murse, man bag, guy purse, and manny pack are some of the names. but why men who have bags are made fun of. to some people it is seen as feminine. but if you are secure with yourself does it really matter. well there are various types of bags for men. i've done some research and with some help from sites like askmen.com here is what i have. first their is the briefcase, and we pretty much know what the briefcase is all about. they are mainly for the working man and the most tolerable bag in mens fashion. i do not own a briefcase but if i would have one it would be more up to date, modern, or fashionable briefcase. next there is the messenger bag, now do i really need to explain this. often seen in canvas with one strap draped across the chest. but nowadays you can see it in leather for that more sophisticated look. everyone from students to actual messengers can be seen out and about sporting their bags with style. i do have a messenger bag and if you know me you guess right its from my favorite brand american eagle. then there is the holdall. and for those who do not know what that is, it is sometime called a weekender bag. i could be stretching by saying its a cross between a tote and a duffel bag. but i hope you get my drift. this is one of my favorite style of bag. its commonly seen in leather but other choices are available. i have a few of these bags and they are great, they can hold a lot of things in it, they are very stylist and just amazing. need i say more. after that we have the camera bag. its a longer rectangular bag and its a stylist way for a man to carry more than just your camera. most commonly seen on tourist and intended to be strapped across the shoulders. this bag is very stylish. it also adds some masculinity to your outfit for those who are worried about wearing a bag hanging from your shoulder.  following that is the tote. similar to a briefcase but clearly not. generally business attire is the look of the bag. a longer handle for a more modern look. its a little more laid back than the briefcase is if you are going for that laid back look. last but not least the news boy bag. often mistaken for a messenger bag, this bag is less formal and more casual. if you are that student who is in the go then this bag is for you. this bag is a little more manly than a knapsack. i know i know, there are more than six types of bags  but we will be here all day. whatever you like there is a bag for you or a bag for your man who needs just a little bit more style(ladies). to each its own. i actually own the bag in this post. ttyl mr.aries

know your body type

hello again. its yours truly, mr.aries. todays topic it for everyone and if you think its not for you then you know someone it pertains to. people, people, people, know your body type. why would you wear something that does not go with your body. it happens all the time, when we go shopping we have this image in our mind of how an outfit will look on our bodies or how we want it to look. im not perfect because i've done it myself. im not the biggest person or the smallest. i fall somewhere in the middle and i am aware of this. but enough about me. and my body. now i know its summertime and we all want to show some skin but you can still do it and not look like you dress yourself in the dark. if you are going for a specific look you need to commit. but you should know that every look has it limitations. i say this because there are too many people wearing too tight shirts or too big pants. there is fat bulging everywhere or you just look a hot mess. and no one whats that. am i right or am i right. when you go shopping and a sales associate ask you if you need help, say yes and take there help. they are there to help you look your best. they know of all the merchandise in their particular department and they are train employees nonetheless. they can tell you want will FIT right or what colors look good, help you pick he right size for your body. and give you options to what you are looking for.  i do not care what anyone says they are always options when you are shopping. if your body is large, then wear a large. why are you trying to squeeze into a smedium, know that you are going to give the clothes stretch marks.  also be mindful of the brands that you purchase. because not all designers design their clothes with every body type in mind. there are brands out there that cater just to the skinny people and vice versa. if you know someone who is going through this please tell them to read this. so until we speak again, mr. aries out. ttyl.

favorite clothing brands

hello there and it yours truly, mr.aries. so todays topic was inspired by todays outfit. my favorite clothing brand, american eagle. and any body who knows me, knows that i wear american eagle everyday religiously.  there is just something about it thats indescribable. ever since someone introduce me to AE i was in love. they stay on trend with everything. and sometimes even start their own trends. i really do love AE. about 75%, maybe more, of my entire wardrobe is AE. yesterday i wore 7 things that had that eagle logo on it. if they are selling it i usually have it in my closet. im probably the cause of why they are still in business( at least the store that i go to) lol. i've even been called a walking advertisement. when i walk into the store the employees get excited to see me and they begin to tell me whats on sale and all the special discounts that they just so happen to have every time i walk in. another one of my favorites is H&M. if you do not know about H&M then you need to crawl from under your rock and come into the real world with everybody. their clothes are more hipster verses the more preppy look that american eagle has. when i usually go into the store i just ask and employee to give me the same things the mannequins are wearing and if not then there will be a naked mannequin when i leave. last but not least there is forever 21. another hot brand for guys. most people don't even know that they sell men clothes. at one point i didn't know. but thankfully i do. their clothes are a little hipster too, along with other styles. but the amazing thing is that there clothes are moderately price if not flat out cheap. you can always find a good deal in that store. sagging

hello my fashion babies it mr.aries here. and todays topics is sagging.what is sagging? well sagging is a form of wearing your trousers below the waist, hanging below the waist line and thus showing your underwear. so many people see it as a world wide phenomenon. but i see it as a epidemic that is spiraling out of control. so where did it begin. well if you don't know let me tell you. there are three things the prison uniforms are usually too large, their belts were taking away to prevent hangings, and to prevent belts from being use as a weapon during a fight. so more than likely the prisoners sagged their uniforms. but that does not seem like a good reason to suddenly pull your pants down right. well it comes from the prisoners being incarcerated for a period of time that when they were released from prison they continued to sag their pants as if they were in prison. because it is a life style that they were accustomed to. but don't think that every person sagging has been in jail once before, because that is not the case. the younger generation do it because they want to be like their favorite hip hop artist. sagging was popularized in the 1990's by hip hop artist. trying to be like the hip hop artist, this generation of kids sag their pants. some people even say that its become a fashion statement that is taking this nation by storm. its an urban look that has dominated plenty of cities like NYC and others. its like the lower you sag you your pants the cooler you are.  some of the youth say that they do not know why they do it. in some cases this can be true. they were born into a society where in some neighborhoods sagging is what you do. so are even pressured into doing it(indirectly). because everyone else is doing it and they want to fit in and be one of the cool kids they sag. i think i might have heard every excuse and reason why people sag. like for example i do not have a belt on. but what makes it worst is that they own belts. they mysteriously for got to put it on. or i pulled my pants down by accident. ok we all know that no one pulls their pants down by accident. but there are saggers who purposely sag their pants by wearing a belt to keep their pants at a desired place on their legs. they tighten the belt around their legs, maybe so that they do not have to continuously pulling them up. most of the time i fell like walking up behind them and just pulling their pants down. i mena if you want us to see your underwear then just take your pants off or don't put them on in the morning and leave the house in you underwear. i can go on for hours about this, so i end this with a question what are your opinions on sagging. so until we speak again ttyl.

mens underwear

 hello my fashion babies, it me again, mr.aries. and todays topic mens underwear. well where should we start. idk if i have any male readers, but if you are out there you should reads this. and ladies this is for you too. you will understand by the end of this blog. well i guess underwear started with the loin cloth, but i don't know if that can really be considered underwear because there is now support. i read somewhere the first sign of some support was seen in a pharaoh's tomb. he was buried with 145 so he have extra in the after life. it was like the loincloth. two isosceles triangles tied at the sides. but the difference is that the fabric from the back came forward and tucked over the in the front. and thus a template for underwear was created. later came variations of the brief in japan, under shorts, union suits with the flap in the back. some even had flaps in the from. soon after that the union suit was turned into two with variations in the way the fly in the front was fasten. then as years went on different fabrics and patterns were introduced and there were a lot of diversity in choices of boxers and briefs. but now there are not only different fabrics and patterns but there are different types of underwear. we have boxer shorts, briefs, boxer briefs, trunks, sports briefs, thongs, and jockstraps. i know there are others but lets just deal with these. ok well we all are familiar with boxers right. well if not here it is.  they look like regular shorts with a fly front sometimes fasten and sometimes not with an elastic waist. briefs have more support. and are better to wear if you are playing sports, training or doing a lot of sitting. they kind of shape the butt, unlike boxers. if you are doing a lot of sitting boxers are not for you. they bunch up on the leg and can give you a wedgie. and no on wants that. the most efficient and popular are the boxer briefs. they are long on the leg like boxers but give you that support that you need for sports or anything active. well trunks are like boxer briefs but they are little shorter on the leg. and just a little more support. next we have sports briefs, which are cut higher on the legs for more movement. then there is the thong. now we all now what a thong is. but for those who just  crawled from under a rock a thong has very little coverage. it basically covers up the boys and thats pretty much it. you can figure out the rest. last but not least there is the jockstrap. for those who do not know what this is let me explain. its main purpose is to support. there is basically no coverage anywhere except the boys. there are straps that go from the waistband down the side of your butt and under to connect to the pouch. those are some of the basics in underwear. there are many brands with a variety of colors and fabrics to choose from. but to each its own. but most men go for cotton, is the optimum choice when it comes to taking good care of your boys. what your answer to the age old question boxers or briefs? whats your favorite. and now that i shared a little info about what we wear underneath, put it to good use. and ladies this is for you to. take good care of your man. and make sure he looks good undress as well as he looks fully clothes. and please no sagging. you can display your individualism with your underwear without sagging. but that is a whole other story soon to be posted. so until we speak again, ttyl.

fashion dilemmas

hello again, have you ever had a day where you could never figure out what to wear. i know i'm not the only one. idk what it is, but sometimes i can never find anything to wear. and its not like i don't have clothes to wear. maybe its that i have too many options that i cannot put an outfit together. i usually can put together an outfit while in bed or if its an outfit that i plan to wear in the near future. i try to pull ideas from the activities that i will be doing that day. then i think about how much exposure the outfit will get that day. sounds a bit crazy but why go through all the trouble of putting together a cute outfit if not that many people are going to see you looking good. anyways choosing the right outfit can be very difficult. but when all else fails i just do a simple jeans and a t-shirt combo. that outfit works every time. we all have our favorite pair of jeans that we enjoy wearing, then we just pair it up with any cute tee that we have. but then what to put on our feet. i told you it was difficult. i usually choose something that looks good with my jeans or something black just because it goes with almost anything. so what do you do to pick out an outfit. maybe put on a small fashion show for your friends. let me know, share your stories. maybe you can do something i do and vice versa. so until next time, ttyl.

spring fashion part 2

spring fashion is such a big topic i had to split it in two. well lets continue. so another staple in my outfit is a very cute bag. and anybody that knows me know that i have a serious bag collection and it is always increasing( i have 2 that i will soon purchase so stay tune but i digress). you can never go wrong with a cute bag. right now im sporting a very cute very sexy true religion bag, that i received with the purchase of the cologne. anyways i love bags. it always goo to have your bag to go with your outfit but not too matchy matchy. you get my drift right. if your bag matches your shoes thats a plus. now we cannot forget spring shoe fashion. for the men its pretty simple about how to choose what to put on our feet. so fellas this one is for the ladies(maybe the next one. now ladies its time to bring out the high heels, wedges, the peep toe, the sling backs, the platform heels, and everything of that nature. a woman's outfit is not complete without the right shoe. lets go over some dos and don'ts. wedges and tights a major no no. they are two different looks. or a cute spring dress and sexy kitten heels. hell no.i would usually say to each its own but not with that. ill. i would style together those leggings with a cute boyfriend shirts some sexy heels maybe a fierce clutch to match and a short a hair do or a really nice pony tail. and of course some cute accessories like bangles, definitely wear studs no question. and a nice necklace and do not forget the shades and the scarf unless its too hot then leave it home (did i mention that im a stylist). anyways, for the ladies that love shirts do it( with my help of course). im a real fan of pencil skirts. but any skirts if done right looks good. but you can never go wrong with a cute tee a pair of skinny jeans and a pair of sexy pumps, with the basic outfit staples that i mentioned earlier. but i do predict platform heels for the spring and even summer. they are so sexy. but they are not for everybody. there is so much to talk about for spring fashion that it cannot fit i one blog.i guess that all for now. so until next time, ttyl.

march 19th Spring fashion

Hello my fashion babies. Since we last spoke the fashion has been amazing. The out that I posted had to be put on hold until further notice because the pants were dirty. I did wear in on Thursday. The extra addition to the outfit was a cute scarf from H&M that I borrow. I should give it back, but it so cute that why I still have it. Well let’s see what’s I wore over the past few days. I wore my grey skinny jeans (I love those jeans). I wore shorts on Friday. Was it I or was it really hot. People were asking me why was I wearing shorts and that it was not hot enough for it. But when I went outside it was hotter than the devil’s toenails. I had the last laugh on that. I also did some yellow and blue just because it spring. Well now that winter is over its spring. Lets discuss spring fashion. Time to put the winter clothes in storage and bring out the likes short jackets, shorts, skirts, flower dresses, and everything of that nature. When you think of spring you think of birds chirping, warm weather and cookouts. I cannot wait. Well back to fashion. My predictions for spring fashion are definitely skinny jeans (I do not care what anybody says). I also predict black, because black is the new black. Maybe not big sunglasses (I’m a fan of big sunglasses), but moderately size sunglasses. Colorful scarves is another prediction for spring. But that goes against the black. But if there was not some originality then it would not be fashion. If you knew how to do it(or you can just have me style you) then you will be able to pull it off. Other than that lets discuss weather fashion. if anybody knows about looking good in any weather it is yours truly. Well a staple in my outfit is a scarf. A good scarf can make an outfit. So no matter what the weather, put scarf on. especially if it is windy out. When the windy is blowing and there is a moment when you are standing still, hit a fierce pose and let the windy do what is does best. You better work. LOL. I just remembered that another staple in my outfit are shades. i wear them in any weather. It does not matter wether its rain, sleet, or snow i make it work. In the rain i suggest a pair of dark jeans, but to each its own. if you can make it work, then do it. until we speak again. ttyl.

marcth 15th fashion.....

hello and happy monday. i think this is going to turn into a fashion blog. but its ok, because i am a fashion icon in my own right. i just have a thing for looking good. i cannot wait to watch gossip girl tonight. the fashion on that show is so in style. but anyways back to me, i just get up in the morning put on what i want and go. but its funny though, i always say that idk what im going to wear the next day. but i have an outfit planned for days, evens weeks away. like now idk what im going to wear tomorrow. but before this is over i will figure it out and post it. so just wait and see. well today i wore my black vans with my gray skinny jeans and a gray and green(my favorite color) polo shirt. a cute but simple outfit. it took about three mins to figure that one out. i cannot say this enough if you like it wear it but have confidence in what you are wearing. wear as if you are on a paris runway, the music is pumping and you are giving your fiercest walk and all eye are on you. just love what your wearing and show it. thats what i do everyday. hell i make a track pants look sexy. if i can do that then i know it cannot be that hard to look confident in a really cute outfit. just show a little swag and give all of your on lookers that paris fashion week attitude. lol. hold on gossip girl is on, and blake lively is a fashionista. i love her personal style. this week i plan to do a little window shopping an maybe even buy something but we will see. oh wait i will be buying true religion cologne so i can get the bag that comes with it. i know that sounds crazy but the bag alone cost more than than cologne. so im going to buy it. look at it like this if i buy it i can look good and smell good too. kill to birds with one stone. people may call me a shopaholic but in that same sentence mention that im also very stylist. as i said before my bag collection is getting bigger. i also want to get another scarf to add to my collection. i cannot wait, and i will be purchasing a new jacket soon to sport around this wonderful city. i definitely want to buy a new pair of sneakers this week but i will have to see what happens. ok i think im wearing my skinny jeans tomorrow( does not matter what color they all look good) a plain white tee, my leather jacket and any pair of sneakers. may seem simple but i will make it work and i will turn heads for sure. the sidewalk is your runway, give attitude .Mr.Aries out.......

hello and happy thursday. today lets talk about fashion. well we can start with my outfit fir today. I'm wearing my brand new vans that i purchase from zappos.com. a pair of black skinny jeans from levi, with a black v-neck tee from urban outfitters. then on top of that I'm wear a purple and blue flannel shirt from my favorite store AE and my black puffed vest fro the north face. i really love fashion. people don't understand i really enjoy dressing up and looking good. i've been like for as long as i can remember. i tweeted a quote from ugly better that stood out to me because it was a really good definition of taste and style. and the quote is, "taste is having the courage of your own convictions". that quote is genius. i could not have said it better myself. and i always say to pull out a good outfit, you must have confidence in what you are wearing. it does not matter if you are wearing haute couture form channel or belenciaga if you have the ugliest look on your face or do no look confidence in what you are wearing, then you will look so unattractive. as i said before, people are always asking me where i brought my clothes than i tell them and they all excited and say that i must go with them the next time they go shopping. for people that do go shopping with me( mainly family and close friends) knows that i usually buy what i like. i do not care what others think, if i like it i will wear it. sometime is fashion you have to take risk. and i take a lot of risk. and thats probably why i always look so nice. but along with that i maintain my clothes and try to buy things with good quality. i mean lets be serious if you buy cheap stuff thats what its going to look like. CHEAP. then the clothes do not last long. but i believes it can o a little deeper than that. the clothes that you wear on top is just as important as the clothes you wear underneath. now I'm saying that you should go out and buy really expensive underwear( unless you can afford it. I'm saying you should look good undress as you do fully clothed. i wear AE, H&M, american apparel. i also do have some other pretty pricy underwear, but thats just me. now it you cannot afford those, then just buy something simple and affordable like hanes or fruit the loom. at least you have on a comfortable fabric(cotton). they have other fabrics, but they mainly use cotton. what i like to do is match my undergarments to what I'm wearing on top. i find it fun to do that, i believe its more fun to do that. right now I'm wearing blue and black underwear from H&M to match my shirt. and my bag game is serious. and if you know me i spend a lot of money on my bags. or at least a lot of money with the money that i make. some people do not understand it takes a lot to look this good. i work two jobs. and i earn every penny. so i like to buy nice things because i can afford it.
